When a loved one’s faith journey comes to completion, Saint Joseph Church offers a compassionate support system to help families during the difficult time of planning a Funeral Mass.

Father Joe and the Bethany Ministry are here to accompany grieving families with care and guidance. The Bethany Ministry is composed of parishioners who meet with the family to help select readings, readers, and music for the liturgy. They also prepare the printed program for the Funeral Mass.

Throughout the liturgy, Bethany Ministry members serve in various roles such as lector, extraordinary minister of Holy Communion, candle bearer, and program distributor, providing prayerful presence and support before and during the Mass.

Through this ministry of consolation, Saint Joseph’s seeks to ease the burden of grief and walk alongside families with faith, compassion, and love.
