Bible Study meets in the East Room on most Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome to join, so come whenever your schedule allows — you need not be there each week.

This year, St. Joseph Parish Bible Study will begin a new study of The Bible Timeline: The Story of Salvation by Jeff Cavins.

This engaging program offers a clear way to understand the overarching story of the Bible and how God’s plan of salvation unfolds throughout history.

About the Study

The full study consists of 24 sessions, each originally designed to last 90 to 120 minutes. Since our parish Bible Study meets for one hour, we will divide each session into two or three parts. This will allow us to move at a gentler pace, with more time for reflection, questions, discussion, and growing in confidence with the material.

Participants are expected to complete their own Scripture reading before each session. This preparation is an important part of the study and will help everyone get the most from our time together.

Study Materials

Each participant is encouraged to purchase their own study book. Having the book will greatly support your learning and allow you to follow along from week to week.

The study materials are available for purchase directly from Ascension Press:

The cost of the study book is approximately $40. If financial assistance is truly needed to obtain a book, please contact us privately by email. We kindly ask that this assistance be requested only when necessary.

We look forward to journeying through Scripture together. May this study deepen our love for God’s Word and strengthen our walk with Christ.
