Appalachia Mission Tripour 5 projects

Project PreviewOur Appalachian Mission Team is excited to begin another week of serving families in need!
This year, our volunteers will be working on five projects that will make a meaningful difference in the lives of local families:- Project 1: Convert a porch into a bedroom for a large family.
- Project 2: Repair a home that has suffered significant damage from a leaking roof.
- Project 3: Install flooring in the first home of a family of six, helping make it safe and comfortable.
- Project 4: Build an additional bedroom so that every child in the family has a space they can call their own.
- Project 5: Repair a roof, replace siding, address sagging floors, and complete other critical repairs to improve a family's living conditions.
The mission team is grateful for the opportunity to put their faith into action through service. Please keep the team, the families they will be serving, and all those involved in your prayers throughout the week.

Celebrating Father Joe's Years of ServiceOur parish family came together Sunday, June 7th, to celebrate Father Joe and thank him for his 21 years of dedicated service and steady leadership as our pastor. Following Mass, parishioners gathered in the gym to enjoy refreshments, sharing memories and expressing their gratitude for all he has done for our community.
Father Joe's faithful ministry, wisdom, and care have touched countless lives, and he will be greatly missed. As he begins this next chapter of his journey, we offer our prayers and best wishes. Thank you, Father Joe, for your years of service to Saint Joseph Parish. May God bless you abundantly in the years ahead!

Beautiful Day For Our Parish PicnicWhat a beautiful day for our Parish Picnic!
With warm weather, great food, and wonderful fellowship, it was a joy to gather together as a parish family. Father Joe celebrated Mass on the Brookside Community Club Field, helping us begin the day centered in faith and community.
Over 100 parishioners attended and enjoyed hamburgers, hot dogs, turkey burgers, and veggie burgers. Thank you as well to everyone who generously brought desserts, salads, and sides to share!
A special thank you to the Knights of Columbus for organizing the picnic and preparing all the food. Your hard work and hospitality helped make the day such a wonderful success!
